"I can't recommend this highly enough! Book this class - or any tour- with the Kims right away! Taking this cooking class in Vietnam ended up being one of the highlights of my entire trip. From the moment I arrived, the Kims welcomed me like an old friend rather than just another guest. Their warmth and enthusiasm made the whole experience feel personal and relaxed, which made it even more enjoyable. Their cooking studio (which is part of their home and an Airbnb that they operate) is clean and cozy. I felt like I was just spending the afternoon at my friend's house making a meal together. One of my favorite parts was visiting the local market together. Walking through the stalls, meeting vendors, and learning about the ingredients gave me a glimpse into everyday life in Hanoi that I wouldn’t have experienced otherwise. Tung explained how locals shop, what ingredients are used in different dishes, and how food fits into daily routines. His willingness to talk openly about life in Vietnam and his past experiences gave me a great look into the daily life of locals in Hanoi. Back in the kitchen, the class was both fun and educational. The instructions were clear and hands-on, and I picked up a lot of helpful cooking techniques along the way. Best of all, the food turned out absolutely delicious. It was incredibly satisfying to sit down and enjoy dishes we had just prepared ourselves. I've since tried making some of the dishes back at home and they have turned out wonderful. But this class is for everyone- no matter your skill level. The Kims will clearly adjust the class to suit your desires and skill level. Overall, this was far more than just a cooking class—it felt like spending an afternoon with friends while learning about Vietnamese culture and cuisine. I left with great memories, new skills, and recipes I’m excited to make for my friends at home. I highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Hanoi. Experiences like this are why I travel! "

"From the moment myself and my girlfriend booked the experience, Hàng was absolutely amazing. Ensuring we were updated with timings and knew exactly where to meet her the structure of the experience. We took a short taxi from our hotel to central Hanoi at which point we joined Hang in another taxi to the football pitches. Hang instilled us with knowledge about Hanoi as well as what to expect upon our arrival. Myself and my girlfriend, who was welcomed with open arms, joined the locals in an hour long 7 aside match which was both competitive an enjoyable. Hàng guidedis throughout the whole experience with humour and genuine care to ensure we had an amazing time, which we did! Playing football with the locals was an incredible once in a life time experience one that allowed barriers to be broken down and communication to be enhance on both sides. We weren’t able to share a drink at the close of play due to a booking we had elsewhere but with the warm welcome we were given I have no doubt that would have been amazing too. "This was such a fun experience! Hang made my friend and I feel like we were locals for the evening! The soccer game was a ton of fun and drinks after with the team made great memories that will last a lifetime for me. I loved the fact that I got to do something I would do at home in a foreign country. It was such a great way to get a feel for the local culture - while sharing our same love of the game! "This was the highlight of the trip for my soccer crazy sons and their friends. We had a large group which was managed well. Hang was great with communication, picked us up on time and took us to a local high school. Was great seeing the newer part of Hanoi also, as hang took us to a large underground mall for dinner.
