"Ms. Ruby provided an excellent experience in the Bat Trang pottery village for us. It was a perfect way to spend our last day in Vietnam, although for the sake of our projects I wish we had toured with her earlier! She met us at our hotel with a taxi and explained the history of the village to us as we drove through. She was an excellent translator and helped us understand what the pottery masters taught us about the traditional pottery wheel, and told us all about the process and kiln. She even used our cameras to take photos of us, so we could enjoy the activity. She thoughtfully coordinated lunch to meet my kids’ picky eating habits in a foreign country— we had homemade pork buns and banh cuom from a local restaurant. And we got to watch the food being prepared. During our visit to the pottery market, she helped translate between us and the vendors, and helped us find some good deals on quality ceramics. Those purchases were the only out of pocket expense we had during the tour. My only regret is not touring with her earlier— the pottery we made on the wheel and then painted was not able to be dried glazed and set in the kiln because the shop cannot ship to the states and it is a four day process. We were able to pack our projects and take them home, but will have to finish them at a local pottery shop out of pocket instead of in Bat Trang. I recommend booking this tour no matter what, but for the best experience plan on going at least four days before you leave so you can have finished products to take home. One of the best days we had from Hanoi. Very kid friendly and hands on, and a good break from the hustle and crowds in Hanoi. Ms. Ruby was friendly, and accommodating, and was a joy to spend the day with."

"We had such an amazing experience on this trip. Firstly it was great to get out of the hustle and bustle of Hanoi's crazy streets. Ruby was simply wonderful with the kids, in fact they spent ages chatting away with her about almost everything. We pretty had the pottery place to our self and spent a good few hours making our creations. We then had a walk around the local town and enjoyed some local food before heading back and painting our pots. After we was taken to the Eco Park which provided a both beautiful and fun few hours. Where the kids got to play in the play ground and got to explore the botanical gardens. Overall a brilliant day in which Ruby truly was outstanding and helpful."

"From the moment myself and my girlfriend booked the experience, Hàng was absolutely amazing. Ensuring we were updated with timings and knew exactly where to meet her the structure of the experience. We took a short taxi from our hotel to central Hanoi at which point we joined Hang in another taxi to the football pitches. Hang instilled us with knowledge about Hanoi as well as what to expect upon our arrival. Myself and my girlfriend, who was welcomed with open arms, joined the locals in an hour long 7 aside match which was both competitive an enjoyable. Hàng guidedis throughout the whole experience with humour and genuine care to ensure we had an amazing time, which we did! Playing football with the locals was an incredible once in a life time experience one that allowed barriers to be broken down and communication to be enhance on both sides. We weren’t able to share a drink at the close of play due to a booking we had elsewhere but with the warm welcome we were given I have no doubt that would have been amazing too. "This was such a fun experience! Hang made my friend and I feel like we were locals for the evening! The soccer game was a ton of fun and drinks after with the team made great memories that will last a lifetime for me. I loved the fact that I got to do something I would do at home in a foreign country. It was such a great way to get a feel for the local culture - while sharing our same love of the game! "This was the highlight of the trip for my soccer crazy sons and their friends. We had a large group which was managed well. Hang was great with communication, picked us up on time and took us to a local high school. Was great seeing the newer part of Hanoi also, as hang took us to a large underground mall for dinner.
