"This was the first time we have done a With Locals tour, and we didn’t regret it. So much so that they are now our first choice when looking for a tour. The District 6 tour takes you out of the tourist heart of Saigon and into the old Chinatown. It provides a different perspective of the city. Thien was an excellent host, giving an in-depth view of past history and current life for the inhabitents of District 6. We started with a bus ride from Ben Tanh with an explanation of some of the key points of interest as we went along, then sat down for a coffee at the oldest coffee shop in Chinatown. Thien took us to the oldest (and less touristy temple) through various points of interest and finishing at the Binh Tay market. Well worth the experience."
