"We had a free day in HCM city, and had already done all the normal traditional tourist things. So we booked a tour of the districts, back streets, markets etc with Hieu. He was very knowledgeable and friendly, and spoke excellent English. We got a good background to Districtv10, and wandered through at a leisurely pace. We also went to the local markets, but didnt eat any toads. Highly recommended as a bit of an off the beaten track tour."

"Great experience with Thien again! We spent a great day in Saigon that I reviewed earlier and then on a second day we headed into the Cu Chi tunnels. What a unique and eye opening experience! Please don't miss it! Thien truly has an amazing knowledge and unique ability to share her culture and all the locals LOVE her as ❤️‍🩹 she took us to the tunnels that are a little farther and much less touristy so you can enjoy this unique experience without 50 people stepping on you while standing in the tunnel and ruining your picture!!! "We spent two great days exploring with Thien. She is incredibly friendly and generous in the way she shares her city. It is evident that she is well liked by everyone we encountered too. On our day in the Mekong Delta we met locals, made rice cakes, visited an old brick factory, stopped at a coconut candy factory, and were even welcomed with a traditional Thai performance. When she saw how enthusiastic we were abouthte food, Thien introduced us to her family and shared some traditional foods that are enjoyed during the New Year, which made the whole experience feel really personal and special. The next day we explored Ho Chi Minh City with her. She guided us through the landmarks and gave us some great insght to the history of Southern Vietnam. She showed us the wholesale market, the flower market (all those orchids!), the photography museum (so much history here), and the oldest coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh. Seeing it all through the eyes of someone who truly knows and loves the city made a big difference. It felt less like a tour and more like spending time with a local friend. We’d absolutely recommend exploring with her if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City."

"Thien and her driver we absolutely amazing. We only had a half day in Saigon to learn as much as we could about the city (as it was before, during and after the war). I provided Thien with a few details about my dad's time in Saigon. Given our time constraints, Thien picked us up from the airport and we hit the ground running. We were lucky enough to see the Chinese areas in full bloom with the final celebrations of the lunar new year. Thien is connected to so many people and amazing stories. We thoroughly enjoyed every minute with her during our very thoughtful experience. Getting immersed into so many different areas was extra special and something we would have missed if we didn't have Thien to lead the way.
