"We absolutely loved our tour of Saigon with Huyen! I'm half-Vietamese and this was my first time visiting Saigon, where my mother is from. So it was important to me to have a private tour with a really personable and knowledgeable guide to show us around. As I was reading through the profiles and reviews, I knew I wanted a tour with Huyen and am so glad I chose her! She was so kind, fun, energetic, and funny! It really felt like we were just hanging out with a friend! She’s very knowledgeable and explained things to us so well about the culture and history of Vietnam. We love learning about history, but there can definitely be difficult things to hear about Vietnam’s history, particularly pertaining to the war. But Huyen presented things in a very factual manner and was careful to check in and ask if we were comfortable with her continuing to speak on certain things or not. I appreciated her always being very considerate throughout the tour, even making sure to find spots where we could sit for a bit or finding shade to stay cooler while she gave us backstory on the places we were visiting. I also appreciated how she worked with us beforehand to customize our tour to our interests and try to see as much as possible with the time we had. We loved our tour - I only wish we had booked a full day because the half-day went quick and it would have been so wonderful to have Huyen show us around even more parts of the city. Would not hesitate to book her again in the future and would highly recommend her!!"

"The tour was basically just wandering around a neighborhood with Hieu, stopping here and there to discuss history or try something. Simple. Was fascinating. Hieu kept it interesting, listened to our questions and was guided by our conversations. We saw different parts of a community, an old coffee shop, flower market, a park and a Cambodian food market. Would go as late as you can in the afternoon to avoid the heat! 100% recommend "

"Our day in Saigon with Huyen was amplified by her enthusiasm and genuine love for what she does. He profile picture underscores her personality perfectly. Always a smile, always a laugh... Great fun. As to the tour, we were taken to the hide away spots which you would never encounter unless you were a local. As an example, we ended up going on a local bus ride to the end of the line. This is where there is a large market where only locals go. Not only that, there is no need to barter because the prices are genuine for locals. Not a chance you'd find this unless you knew someone. All in all, a great time and explanation of Saigon in the time we had."
