"Had the most wonderful day in the MeKong delta with the best guide: Huyen. She really makes sure the day is special and tailored to your needs. She knows alot and explains everything you see with great enthusiasm and lots of energy. The tour was intimate and magical with lots of respect to the local community and nature and culture. I am very happy that I booked this private tour instead of a more touristy one. It is 100% worth the extra money and I can recommend this to anyone😊"

"A great time was had by our private group of 4 on our trip through the Mekong. Huyen's bubbly friendly personality only added to the day. Our day was focused on Ben Tre with our itinerary as follows: 1. Traditional Brick Kiln Visit via boat on the main river Experience the age-old method of brick-making as local artisans demonstrate how thousands of bricks are crafted entirely by hand. This stop offers a glimpse into a labor-intensive tradition that has supported generations. 2. Coconut Candy Workshop Discover the many uses of the coconut tree at this fascinating workshop. Watch as locals skillfully transform coconut milk into sweet candy and repurpose coconut husks into handmade souvenirs. Learn how this versatile tree plays a vital role in daily life and the local economy. 3. Traditional Mat Weaving Family Meet a local family who has been weaving traditional mats for over 50 years. Observe their expert techniques, passed down through generations, and gain insight into a craft that still thrives in modern times. Lunch & Leisure We enjoyed lunch at a local restaurant. 4. Sampan Boat Ride Through Water Coconut Palms Drift peacefully along narrow canals in a traditional sampan boat. Paddle under a lush canopy of water coconut palms, taking in the tranquility and natural beauty of the Mekong Delta. 5. Ride in a Xe Lam (Local Tuk-Tuk) Hop aboard a Xe Lam, a traditional Vietnamese three-wheeled vehicle, and cruise through the countryside. This fun and authentic ride allows you to soak in the vibrant sounds, sights, and rhythms of suburban Vietnam. There was no pressure or tourist traps. The locals were lovely. Huyen and our driver then took us back to our hotel. Starting at 09:00 and returning around 17:00 as they claimed traffic was minimal but I'll credit it to the skill of our driver. A genuine great day. Don't hesitate!"

"We toured the Mekon Delta with Huyen. She was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable. Made the whole trip fantastic. And what a journey it was! Absolutely, totally a must see. I can't recommend it (or Huyen) highly enough! The kids, especially, loved it."

"Thien is such an incredible guide!!!!!!! Absolutely book a tour with her if you’re ever in Ho Chi Minh City/Saigon. She has a great grasp of English and she’s an incredible conversationalist. She’ll be able to answer any questions you might have about anything and everything in Vietnam. She’s also very funny and had us laughing throughout the day. We started the tour by adding a breakfast banh mi and cafe for coffee which were both very tasty. We then headed to the tunnels where she offered a very in depth explanation of the history behind the tunnels, she even got a guide to accompany us at the tunnels which accentuated the tour quite a bit. We also added the gun range to close off the tour which was quite invigorating. Thanks for making our trip very memorable, Thien!"

"Thien was honest, personable and very knowledgeable! Not just about the places we visited and people we talked to, but about Vietnam‘s unique history and culture. She was not only kind to us, but also the locals, meeting them eye to eye, joking witz them and making everyone comfortable. "We spent two great days exploring with Thien. She is incredibly friendly and generous in the way she shares her city. It is evident that she is well liked by everyone we encountered too. On our day in the Mekong Delta we met locals, made rice cakes, visited an old brick factory, stopped at a coconut candy factory, and were even welcomed with a traditional Thai performance. When she saw how enthusiastic we were abouthte food, Thien introduced us to her family and shared some traditional foods that are enjoyed during the New Year, which made the whole experience feel really personal and special. The next day we explored Ho Chi Minh City with her. She guided us through the landmarks and gave us some great insght to the history of Southern Vietnam. She showed us the wholesale market, the flower market (all those orchids!), the photography museum (so much history here), and the oldest coffee shop in Ho Chi Minh. Seeing it all through the eyes of someone who truly knows and loves the city made a big difference. It felt less like a tour and more like spending time with a local friend. We’d absolutely recommend exploring with her if you’re visiting Ho Chi Minh City."
