"We absolutely loved our tour of Saigon with Huyen! I'm half-Vietamese and this was my first time visiting Saigon, where my mother is from. So it was important to me to have a private tour with a really personable and knowledgeable guide to show us around. As I was reading through the profiles and reviews, I knew I wanted a tour with Huyen and am so glad I chose her! She was so kind, fun, energetic, and funny! It really felt like we were just hanging out with a friend! She’s very knowledgeable and explained things to us so well about the culture and history of Vietnam. We love learning about history, but there can definitely be difficult things to hear about Vietnam’s history, particularly pertaining to the war. But Huyen presented things in a very factual manner and was careful to check in and ask if we were comfortable with her continuing to speak on certain things or not. I appreciated her always being very considerate throughout the tour, even making sure to find spots where we could sit for a bit or finding shade to stay cooler while she gave us backstory on the places we were visiting. I also appreciated how she worked with us beforehand to customize our tour to our interests and try to see as much as possible with the time we had. We loved our tour - I only wish we had booked a full day because the half-day went quick and it would have been so wonderful to have Huyen show us around even more parts of the city.
