From the very first moment we met Mark at our meeting point, we had the feeling that he was genuinely looking forward to showing us around his city. His impressive knowledge of the city’s history – and, even better, all the little stories and anecdotes behind it – brought everything to life. The relaxed and natural way he shared them made the time simply fly by.
When we also discovered that we shared a hobby and several other interests, our first impression was confirmed: Mark wasn’t just a knowledgeable guide, but someone who genuinely enjoyed sharing his home with us – its history, its stories and the way people live there today.
We had a wonderful time with him and would be delighted to meet him again if we ever find ourselves back in the city. We would absolutely recommend spending time with Mark – it really felt like a friend showing us his city."
