He gave us a primer on Moroccan history, showing us how people in Marrakech live, where they shop, how they think, all while taking us to the the numerous places where the locals eat.
I informed Aimad in advance that we were absolutely NOT interested in looking at things to buy, and I deeply appreciated it that he listened and did not bring us to shops to be shown things for purchase. He focused on things that he knew interested us: history and food, primarily.

"Adil was welcoming, warm and friendly. He was very passionate about his city and had lots of knowledge to share. He was happy to be asked questions and took time to answer them. Adil engaged with our children (7&11) who had a super experience in a busy and chaotic environment compared to their experiences of life in a quiet spot in Wales. We were hungry at the end of our tour and were keen to eat some traditional Moroccan food, have a view over the square and have food which our children would eat also. Adil, found us a great restaurant - would definitely recommend him. "
