"I had an excellent Atlas Mountains day trip with Brahim through Withlocals. He picked me up directly from my hotel in a clean, well-maintained SUV and drove safely and comfortably throughout the journey. On the way to the mountains, we stopped at two cooperatives where I was able to purchase high-quality, authentic gifts, a refreshing contrast to some of the more tourist-oriented shops in the souks. Once we arrived in the Atlas Mountains, Brahim’s cousin Mustapha led the hiking portion of the tour, and it was a highlight of the day. We explored the villages where they grew up, saw beautiful waterfalls, and hiked above the valley with stunning views. It felt very personal and authentic. We then enjoyed a delicious traditional Berber lunch before heading back down and returning to Marrakech with Brahim. Both Brahim and Mustapha were warm, knowledgeable, and thoughtful hosts. This was truly one of the highlights of my visit to Morocco, and I would highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a genuine and memorable experience."

"Booked Omar as our guide at short notice, from the outset his communication was swift and accommodating. On the day Omar collected us from our Hotel in a modern , immaculate and spacious car and off we set into the Atlas hills. Omar was the consummate guide , engaging in fluent English and happy to answer all our questions with grace and charm with an easy flexibility to tailor our day out. Clearly proud of his country and heritage his demeanour was engaging and humorous. We spent a great day with Omar and , our appetite now wetted , we will be back to Morroco soonest. "

"My wife and i selected a private tour with Omar on the basis of his previous reviews. We were not disappointed! From when Omar picked us up from our hotel in a fabulous airconditioned car at 9am until he dropped us back at 6pm, our adventure was more than we could of whished for. Omar , coming from the Atlas villages, was full of information and highlighted areas for the best photos and stopping points. Our treck to the waterfalls was easy going and beautiful. We then had an excellent lunch and then explored the other side of the valley. Omar's English is excellent and he taught us so much on our days tour. Highly recommended. You will see and learn so much more than watching a documentry or reading a book! "

"We really enjoyed this tour, it was great to see also the Mountains and how people live up there. Brahim was our driver to get there and then we met Mustafa who guided us during this wonderful walk, he was really patient and kind with us and our daughter too(8 years old). The best part of the tour was the lunch into a house of locals living into a village there. The view, the food and their way to welcome us was really unique. "Our group of 3 went on a tour of the Ourika Valley with Omar. Omar was personable, funny, and a good driver! He answered all our queations and we felt like he gave us a wonderful perspective of both Berber ans Moroccan culture. We stopped at 2 Berber homes, a women’s co-op, Setti-Fatima for anhike andnlunch, and we drove up througu some high points in the Atlas Mountains. It was an excellent mix of activities throughout the day. We appreciated having a small private tour as it made everything so much easier. We cannot reccomend booking with Omar wnough!"

"We did a private Atlas Mountains tour with Ibrahim and it was honestly perfect. He knows everyone up there, which meant we got taken to beautiful spots, met interesting people and never really felt like “tourists.” He helped us navigate prices for the bits we wanted to buy, stopped at a lovely argan cooperative, and shared tons of local info (I even picked up some Berber!). The highlight for me was hiking in Ibrahim’s mountain village to see waterfalls with Abdul - he was incredible. I’m already planning to come back for a longer hiking adventure with him. Meanwhile my father, who can’t hike, spent a relaxed morning in the village with Ibrahim. No stress, no pressure - just genuine hospitality. We then had an amazing lunch at Ibrahim’s family home, cooked by his family, and it was one of the best meals of the trip (I even bought a tajine to bring back home after this meal). Brahim's car was super comfortable and the driving was excellent the whole day. What I loved most: it felt really authentic. You feel like a friend of the locals, not a tourist stuck on a big bus with some pushy guide chasing tips and forced 5-star reviews. If you’re visiting Marrakech and want to escape the busy city for some serenity and calm, this is the one. I’d recommend Ibrahim (and Abdul for hiking) to anyone - easily a 10/10. "We had an amazing day out with Hassan in the Atlas Mountains. He picked us up from close to our hotel in the Medina, on time, with clear instructions on where to meet up. Prior to this we had held a conversation with him, via the Withlocals app, to tailor the day to our exact requirements. We visited the village of Imlil and enjoyed a hike around the local area visiting waterfalls and enjoying spectacular views. We were even welcomed into Hassan's home and were served up a delicious Berber lunch. Hassan is a friendly, hospitable and extremely knowledgeable guide who will enhance any excursion and we have been left with lots of wonderful memories. We would thoroughly recommend Hassan as a guide! "

"We recently toured with Omar, excursion taking us from Marrakech to Essouaria and back. Omar was a pleasure to be with during the 5 hour round trip drive. He was prompt, informative, fun personality, went out of his way to make a few stops per our request and his suggestions. With him we experienced some local rural activities that otherwise we would have missed. His guide in Essouaria was also top notch. I would highly recommend requesting Omar through “with locals”."
