What my friend and I loved most was that she took us to viewing areas that only the locals would know about, so we were able to show our other friends when they arrived later. "I cannot recommend Gulay highly enough! We did a 90mins tour starting next to the famous Shibuya Crossing and then explored the area. Gulay showed us some great hidden gems like little bars, the best ramen places and a small neighborhood where the locals live. She also really kindly bought us some matcha drinks and cake :) Gulay was super knowledgeable about the history and culture of Tokyo, answered all our questions and gave us some amazing recommendations for restaurants and sites to visit and avoid. When I booked the tour a few weeks in advance, Sayuri reached out ahead of time about a schedule conflict. Fortunately, we had the option to stick with her and tour a different day, which was absolutely the right decision. She did a great job showing us all the ins and outs of the Asakusa district and introduced us to a whole load of new snacks and foods on top of it.
