"Gulay is a fantastic guide and a lovely, warm, thoughtful person ❣️ She is extremely flexible and really tailors the tours to your preferences and constraints. She pointed out so many typical, quirky details that would easily go unnoticed, and also gave us many insights into Japanese history, culture and traditions. On the practical side, Gulay helped us understand the subway system on our first day, and thanks to her explanations, we never got lost afterwards ! 😅 She also recommended one of her favorite restaurants in Shibuya, that became our favorite too ! 😋 All in all, we had the best time with Gulay - it was like discovering the city with a trusted friend who really wanted us to make the most of our time. She helped us find exactly what we were looking for, even though our requests were extremely varied (Pokémon cards, a cat café, the most traditional streets in Tokyo, a specific grave in a cemetery…). 😂 She is an extremely dedicated guide and a really fun person to spend time with ! 🤩 The only downside is that we were very sad to say goodbye, but we hope to see her again on our next visit. 💖"

She struck the perfect balance between covering all the key historical highlights and leading us through charming side streets we never would have discovered on our own. "Gerald has all the qualities you would hope for in a guide. He’s very friendly and fun to hang out with, extremely flexible, and has a great deal of knowledge to share regarding local customs and way of life. He also has many tips about food, both in restaurants and department stores. 😋 One of the things that really stood out was that we arrived about an hour late for our tour 🫣 and Gerald stayed with us for an extra hour - far beyond the call of duty ! As it was too late to make the most of the neighborhood we were supposed to visit, he suggested another experience entirely - a magnificent light show - that we absolutely loved ! Gerald also got along so well with my ten year old son, and listened so patiently to all his stories, that my son wanted to spend more time with him and book another tour ! 🤗 Altogether, I recommend Gerald one hundred percent ! 👌"

"We had such a wonderful time exploring Tokyo with our guide! She made the entire experience feel personal, insightful, and genuinely special. We started in Shibuya, where we got to see the famous Shibuya Crossing up close — such an iconic moment! From there, she took us through Memory Lane, which had such a unique atmosphere and gave us a glimpse into a different side of the city. One of the highlights was visiting Meiji Shrine. She thoughtfully showed us how to respectfully enter and behave at a shrine, which made the experience much more meaningful. We loved seeing all the charms and people’s wishes — it was peaceful and fascinating at the same time. She also went the extra mile to help us track down some of the last remaining cherry blossoms, which felt really special since we were just at the tail end of the season. To top it all off, she recommended an amazing teppanyaki restaurant for dinner — it ended up being one of the best meals of our trip! Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a knowledgeable, kind, and engaging guide in Tokyo. She truly made our visit unforgettable!"

"We had an absolutely amazing time exploring Tokyo thanks to our incredible guide Abu! From the moment we met, he made the entire experience fun, engaging, and completely stress-free. He took us through such a great mix of iconic and unique spots — from the excitement of Godzilla Street and the buzz of the red-light district, to the stunning world’s only 3D billboard. We also got to experience the beauty and culture of Senso-ji Temple, wander through Shinjuku and Asakusa, and take in the views around Sumida and the Tokyo Skytree. It felt like we saw every side of Tokyo in one perfectly planned tour. What really stood out was how thoughtful and attentive he was. He made sure we were comfortable the entire time and shared interesting insights along the way that we wouldn’t have discovered on our own. And on top of that, he took so many fantastic photos of us at all the best spots — we now have incredible memories captured forever. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Tokyo.
