"We are a family of 4, including twin 10 year old girls, from Houston, TX, USA. We only had 3 days in Venice, and we spent 2 of them on tours with Lucia, and she was amazing! We all loved our time with her, and she was especially great with my girls who adored her. She handled all of the planning and purchasing tickets for our activities, and it was so stress free for me. We started this tour with an amazing stop at the last remaining puppeteer in Venice. We visited his magical workshop and got to learn all about his process and see his amazing puppets. It was such a unique and fun experience. Then, we did a tour around Venice that took my girls on a fun scavenger hunt. They learned so much and had so much fun at the same time. At the end, the girls were awarded a prize for beating the parents, and they were thrilled! Lucia dropped us off at a mask making workshop which she had arranged in a non touristy part of town where my girls painted handmade paper mache masks in the Venetian style. They loved it! I highly recommend Lucia as a guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, wonderful with kids and adults, and she showed us so many things that we would never have seen on our own. "While visiting Venice, I had the pleasure of booking a tour with Valerio for fish shopping at Rialto Market followed by home cooking in Murano. The experience was nothing short of extraordinary and truly authentic. We began our day at Rialto Market, selecting fresh, local ingredients under Valerio's expert guidance. From there, we traveled to his lovely home in Murano, where he prepared a mouthwatering multi-course meal, perfectly paired with libations for each course. What made the experience even more special was how hands-on it was—my friend and I got to help with some of the preparations, which made the meal feel even more personal and rewarding. Throughout the day, Valerio’s warm and engaging personality shone. He answered all our questions about life in Italy with patience and enthusiasm, sharing fascinating insights into local culture and traditions. Despite our endless curiosity, he never seemed to tire of our company and made us feel completely at home. To top it off, Valerio provided excellent recommendations for other unique experiences and activities we could try during our trip. His hospitality, knowledge, and passion for sharing the Italian way of life made this tour the highlight of my visit to Venice. If you’re looking for an authentic, unforgettable experience in Venice, I cannot recommend Valerio enough. He is the perfect host and guide, and this experience is not to be missed!"

"We had the lovely Lucia show us around Venice. The kids, aged 9 & 11, put this as a top highlight of the trip. Lucia was passionate, knowledgable and kept the kids engaged in the 2.5hr tour. We adults also had fun and learnt a bit too. We added in the mask making activity at they end which they loved and allowed hubby and me to go have a appertivo sans kids - close by, which was also very nice. Highly recommend."

"Valerio was timely, fun, friendly, knowledgable, hit all the key points and was relaxed in the process- trusted us as a group. He’s great in many languages. I avoid tours at all costs as i dont being told where to look, where to step, what not to touch, etc but this tour was very enjoyable and a fun quick way to meet some people that are also having fun in your same area! :D"

"A great tour courtesy of Valerio. Many guides introduce themselves and then it's off to reciting a script of facts. Valerio was nothing like that. He took the time to engage with each member of our group directly and, being a current resident of Murano, ensured we had a less touristic adventure. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the different glass work techniques from independent female artisans. And that 12th century Byzantine church is a must see even for those who are not religious."

"From the moment we met Lucia she was friendly and very attentive to our four children. The kids had a fantastic time. Lucia had the kids really engaged with the ‘treasure hunt’ and it was clear they were having lots and lots of fun, even our 3 year old got really stuck in! - Lucia really has a natural way with children and they really enjoyed her company! The tour was really informative for the children and for us! I think without Lucia we could only enjoy the outside beauty of Venice but actually it has so many hidden gems and history which Lucia shared with us. The kids ended with an exclusive workshop session to make masks, we were comfortable to leave them with Lucia and safiyya (from the workshop) while we enjoyed some quiet time and a coffee in a nearby cafe. I would highly recommend a tour with Lucia to all friends and family visiting Venice! Lucia is definitely a Friend in Venice! "
