"We had an outstanding experience with our guide, Adrian, in Venice. From the very beginning, she was a joy to work with. She responded to emails quickly and professionally, helped coordinate so many details of our visit, and consistently went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly. During our time together, one of our travelers was injured. Adrian immediately stepped in, called an ambulance, stayed with the traveler, and made sure she was taken care of, all while continuing to lead and care for the rest of our group. Her professionalism, compassion, and ability to handle a stressful situation were truly impressive. Beyond that, Adrian was simply an exceptional tour guide. Her enthusiasm for Venice was contagious, and her knowledge was incredible. She didn't just recite dates, names, and historical facts, she brought the city to life by helping us understand its culture, traditions, and the significance behind what we were seeing. She made every stop meaningful and memorable. Our group absolutely loved Adrian. "We had a great day with Giada! She is definitely an expert with all things Venice. First, Giada met us at our hotel, which was super sweet of her, and escorted us to St. Mark's Square. We spent alot of time within The Basilica and Doge's Palace. She was incredibly knowledgeable about all the aspects of each and easily related it to current day Venice. Then we went along a walking tour to explore various areas within Venice, and we made multiple stops at some of her favorite food places along the way. She was a great asset to us as well during our overall Venice trip, as she suggested to us one restaurant which was one of my favorite dinners while we were there (Osteria Oliva Nera). She is a highly recommended tour guide as she has an excellent personality, is very knowledgeable, and was a pleasure to work with. "We are a family of 4, including twin 10 year old girls, from Houston, TX, USA. We only had 3 days in Venice, and we spent 2 of them on tours with Lucia, and she was amazing! We all loved our time with her, and she was especially great with my girls who adored her. She handled all of the planning and purchasing tickets for our activities, and it was so stress free for me. We started this tour with an amazing stop at the last remaining puppeteer in Venice. We visited his magical workshop and got to learn all about his process and see his amazing puppets. It was such a unique and fun experience. Then, we did a tour around Venice that took my girls on a fun scavenger hunt. They learned so much and had so much fun at the same time. At the end, the girls were awarded a prize for beating the parents, and they were thrilled! Lucia dropped us off at a mask making workshop which she had arranged in a non touristy part of town where my girls painted handmade paper mache masks in the Venetian style. They loved it! I highly recommend Lucia as a guide. She is extremely knowledgeable, wonderful with kids and adults, and she showed us so many things that we would never have seen on our own. "My wife and I had an enriching and thoroughly enjoyable morning exploring Venice with Lucrezia on the Highlights & Hidden Gems of Venice tour. From the very beginning, it was clear that Lucrezia genuinely loves her city and takes great pride in sharing its history, traditions and everyday life. Rather than simply showing us the famous sights, she led us through quiet neighbourhoods, charming canals and hidden corners that we would never have discovered on our own. It was exactly the authentic, off-the-beaten-path experience we were hoping for. What really set the tour apart was how Lucrezia brought Venice to life through her storytelling. Her explanations were engaging, insightful and filled with fascinating details that helped us appreciate not just the city's rich history, but also what it's like to live in Venice today. We also appreciated her excellent recommendations for local bàcari, cafés and restaurants frequented by Venetians rather than tourists. We followed many of her suggestions over the next few days, and they turned out to be some of the best food and wine experiences of our trip. Lucrezia is warm, knowledgeable, personable and incredibly generous with her local insights. Spending three hours with her felt less like a guided tour and more like discovering Venice with a friend who knows and loves every corner of the city. If you're looking for a meaningful introduction to Venice that goes beyond the usual tourist attractions, we cannot recommend Lucrezia highly enough. It was one of the highlights of our time in Italy, and we would gladly book another tour with her on our next visit."

"Unfortunately, I experienced heat exhaustion about 25 minutes into the tour. While we were not able to finish the tour, we still had a positive experience with our guide, Rocco. As soon as he realized I was sick, he got me Venetian ice to help cool me down. When I did not improve, he went to a nearby pharmacy and bought medicine for me with his own money, refusing any repayment. He stayed with us while I recovered and, once I was well enough, walked us all the way back to our hotel (a 25-minute walk). Meeting someone as kind and caring as Rocco was truly refreshing. His generosity and genuine concern helped me feel better in a scary situation. Even though we could not complete the tour, it was clear Rocco is incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Venice. I highly recommend a tour with him!"

"The tour was interesting overall, and I appreciated being shown several non‑touristy, quieter areas that I wouldn’t have found on my own. The visit to the church was a real highlight — a beautiful building with plenty of history to take in. That said, some parts felt a little unclear or perhaps not fully explained, especially compared with other private tours I’ve done in the past. I left feeling like a few details were missed or could have been expanded on. Still, it wasn’t a bad experience — just not quite as polished or informative as I expected."
