"My mom and I had a wonderful tour with Michele. He adjusted our itinerary to accommodate some pain my mom had while walking and still gave us a ton of insight into the gems of Florence. Along the way he showed us clever places to relax around the city, some with astonishing views and no other tourists. He was sure to point out great places to eat and drink along the way, always happy to linger if we wanted or continue when we were ready. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of Florentine art and history and helped us to feel at home in the city. Highly recommend this fabulous human. In hindsight, I wish we’d started with a shorter tour, then hired him again when we had more insight on our interests and stamina. "

We ran over the allotted tour time, but the time flew by because everything was so interesting. He went to extra trouble to obtain tour headsets for us from the gallery, so that my hard-of-hearing father could also hear him speak. I could not recommend Matteo more highly."

"We absolutely loved our walking tour with Michele! It was myself, my husband, and our 16-month-old, and Michele was incredibly accommodating with a slightly slower pace because of the baby. He was so kind and even carried her at one point, which we truly appreciated. It felt more like a walk with a friend—someone who shared stories and insights naturally—rather than a formal tour. At the same time, we learned so much about Florence. Sometimes you come back from a tour and wonder, “What did I actually learn?” That was definitely not the case here! "Eden had tailored my private tour to include some shopping along with some fabulous local food. We visited some interesting local shops, had coffee at a high end cafe and had beautiful local food at a traditional rustic trattoria. On the way back we stopped by a bookshop in an old cinema, complete with seats to watch a Charlie Chaplin movie, fabulous. If I have time I will go back for a bit of quiet time…"

"I know we go on walking tours to learn things. However, Eddie’s tour was packed with more so much wonderful information about Florence. In the tow hours we spend with Eddie, we learned what felt like everything about Florence (though I know that is impossible). We learned the history of the world bankrupt! We are still talking about that days later. Eddie answered the kids’ questions kindly and patiently. He really seems to know so much, we loved it. "
