"Matteo really goes the extra mile to make sure you have a great experience. We toured the Uffizi with him and his knowledge of and passion for art were evident right from the start. He knew the stories behind all of the works and made sure that we saw all of the most significant ones in addition to many of his personal favorites that were less well known. He even spent an extra hour with us just to make sure we got to see everything. My mother in law has some trouble walking and Matteo made sure to keep the pace of the tour perfect for her and get elevators whenever possible to cut down on stair climbing. I would recommend Matteo for anyone who loves art and wants to leave about it in the beautiful environment of the Uffizi!"

"Our tour with Alessandra was absolutely wonderful. I can't say enough things about her. Her friendliness and knowledge really made the city come alive, and we saw so many interesting things that we would have never found on our own. She also made sure the pace was perfect for my mother-in-law who has a little trouble walking, and she was able to change the plan on the fly several times to accommodate our needs. we did a second tour with her the next day and will be recommending her to several of our friends who are travelling to Florence soon. "We were delighted to spend 3 jours with Vincenzo in Florence, learning the fascinating history of its most famous family. Vincenzo was a wealth of knowledge and told us how the Medicis rose to power, held on to it through their connection with the papacy, and then died out, all the while connecting this history with artifacts, sculptures and buildings that surrounded us. He took us to the Pitti palace as well and gave us such fun and interesting highlights of the galleries there too. Overall, we had a wonderful morning and learned so much. Would strongly recommend— having a private local guide is a luxury but also a special experience."

"My mom and I had a wonderful tour with Michele. He adjusted our itinerary to accommodate some pain my mom had while walking and still gave us a ton of insight into the gems of Florence. Along the way he showed us clever places to relax around the city, some with astonishing views and no other tourists. He was sure to point out great places to eat and drink along the way, always happy to linger if we wanted or continue when we were ready. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of Florentine art and history and helped us to feel at home in the city. Highly recommend this fabulous human. In hindsight, I wish we’d started with a shorter tour, then hired him again when we had more insight on our interests and stamina. "
