"We spent the afternoon with Matteo wandering through Florence. What a beautiful city and having Matteo as our guide gave us a great insight into the history and culture of the city. We kicked off in the local market and enjoyed some amazing local produce. He has a great relationship with a lot of the local vendors and that made for a fun interactive afternoon. He gave us great tips on buying local products such as leather and jewellery. The tour was very well paced and had a great mix of food, shopping and local history. "When my husband and I first came across the Withlocals website many months ago, we knew that we would want to take advantage of that program during our time in Florence. After considering three different tours, we decided on the Art, Shopping, and Food of Florence walking tour. Once the tour was booked, Matteo was in touch with us very soon after.
