"We had an absolute blast on our tour of Dublin! Mydie, our wonderful guide, was incredibly friendly, warm, and open from the very beginning. The tour was a 3-hour walking experience with well-timed breaks at key sights along the way. Mydie was amazingly accommodating to our wishes, she tailored the route to include a great stop for Fish & Chips and a relaxing break in the park. Beyond her great hosting, she shared a wealth of fascinating historical facts and insights about Dublin and Ireland. I highly recommend booking a tour with Mydie! Just a quick tip for future travelers: you should be reasonably fit and comfortable walking. Thank you so much, Mydie! It was truly wonderful exploring Dublin with you! All the best from your Austrian Group đŚđš "
"My husband and I took Ruairi's walking tour, and I can't recommend it highly enough. What I loved most was how he brought Dublin's history to life â not with dates and facts recited from a script, but through real stories, many of them his own. He's lived this city, and it comes through in everything he shares. He has a wonderful gift for making history feel personal. Every street and building had a story behind it, and he told them like he was letting you in on something, not delivering a tour. My husband is the music fan in our family and got plenty out of that side of things, but even if you have no particular interest in the music scene, there is so much here for you â the history, the neighborhoods, the character of the city itself. He also took genuine care of us â restaurant recommendations, tips for the rest of our stay â and by the end we felt completely at ease in Dublin. If you want to understand this city, not just see it, take his tour. Five stars. "
"We did a walking tour in Dublin with RuairĂ today and it was the perfect way to start our trip to Ireland. Apart from giving the most amazing, informative, and entertaining tour, RuairĂ was so accommodating (our flight was terribly delayed and we needed to start late). I would highly recommend that anyone wanting to tour around Dublin do so with RuairĂ."
"Jack is one of the best tour guides you could have in Dublin! He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and made exploring the city such a fun experience. He shared fascinating stories about Dublinâs history and culture while keeping the tour entertaining and engaging. Jack was also great at answering questions and making everyone feel welcome. If youâre looking for someone to show you around Dublin, I highly recommend Jackâyou wonât find a better person to tour the city with!"
"From the outset, Brendan demonstrated a profound understanding of Dublinâs history and renowned landmarks. He provided us with captivating narratives, delving into the political intricacies and the eventual outcomes of each significant event. His insights shed light on the profound impact these events have had on the people of Dublin. A great experience!"
"Eamonâs passion for the history of Ireland showed throughout the tour. Eamon arrived early to meet with us. It was just like having a friend in Dublin showing you around. He took us into places we never would have thought to go, or even been known we were allowed. We had asked for places to go where locals go (such as non touristy pubs) and he sent us a list in advance. He gave us practical tips for our stay. He scoped out and rated the bathrooms for us (which as women we really appreciated!). He is flexible and started the tour with telling us to let him know if we wanted to stop for coffee, a pint or a bite to eat. We were quite hungry by the end of our tour and stopped for lunch. During lunch he continued our history lesson complete with photos. We highly recommend Eamon if you are ever in Dublin! "
"Eamon spoke to our interest in the troubles. He was extremely well informed on the topic and made the history come alive. He graciously agreed to meet us at our hotel near St Stephenâs green as we flew in that day. I had asked about specific recommendations on food and music in an earlier communication so he sent a pdf file. A well spent 1 1/2 hours!"
"Derek met us in the lobby of our hotel right on time. He had the train tickets and took us through the darling town of Howth and we had a lovely lunch and then embarked on a spectacular walk/hike around the coast up in the glorious hills. It was picturesque and Derek pointed out all of the important, historic and relevant spots, including flora and fauna. I would highly recommend Derek, he has high energy and is very knowledgeable. Thank you for making the day so wonderful!!"
"We learned about Ireland and Dublin from early days up to current events. The history is fascinating. On a Dewey day we walked and visited places of interest to us. Stephen was accommodating to our interests and time. "
"Mydie was a wonderful tour guide. She was so easy to talk to, really engaged with the kids (ages 11 and 14), took us to some great places to try so much food (!). Everything was delicious. We didn't feel rushed at any point, had plenty of time to chat and ask questions. It was great to hear stories as we walked around Dublin, it really helped understanding a lot about the city. We'd highly recommend Mydie, but please come hungry! :)"
