He had the train tickets and took us through the darling town of Howth and we had a lovely lunch and then embarked on a spectacular walk/hike around the coast up in the glorious hills. It was picturesque and Derek pointed out all of the important, historic and relevant spots, including flora and fauna. I would highly recommend Derek, he has high energy and is very knowledgeable. "While waiting for train to Howth , Kate asked us what we each were looking for in the tour. My husband loves history and I enjoy architecture and gardening. Kate made sure to include those items and more. I am hearing impaired and I had no trouble hearing or understanding her. Our tour was very fun and we learned a great deal. She was very attentive and caring about us as we walked along. Before leaving at the end of the tour, she let us know about some very good restaurants in the area, which we took full advantage of. He met us at our hotel and started filling us in on some of the history of the buildings we were passing and of Ireland as we walked to the train station.
