At the end of the evening, we were stuffed with delicious Greek foods and fun facts, and we got to see some areas in Athens that we weren't able to squeeze into our very tight two days. "Nasir was fantastic! We had great conversation throughout the tour, and we definitely did not leave the experience hungry. One thing to keep in mind if you're visiting in August is that much of Europe essentially takes the month off for vacation, so quite a few places are closed. Nasir had warned us about this beforehand and explained that because some of his usual favorites were closed, he would be taking us to his “number two” choices instead. If those were his second choices, we certainly weren't disappointed. Everything was delicious, and Nasir told us that all of the places we visited were spots he would happily go to with his wife, which made the experience feel much more personal and local rather than just a collection of tourist stops. Along the way, he also pointed out a couple of true locals-only type places that weren't open during our visit but that we'd love to try on a future trip to Athens. Great food, plenty of it, and excellent conversation with a guide who clearly enjoys sharing his city."
