So many delicious tastes from the best bougatsa, luscious dried figs and pistachios to olives and a family run distillery with the most incredible coffee and fruit liqueurs. Niko is enthusiastic , funny and very knowledgeable . The shopkeepers all loved him and welcomed us warmly. This tour really showed how the evolution of culture, history and food is intertwined. "
"Yorgos was fantastic. He altered things to meet the change in the day due to Labor Day protests and closings. He provided us with amazing food tastings- we have a new appreciation of Fava! From tapas to dessert and an amazing gyro in the middle we couldn’t have asked for better. Yorgos knowledge about history and architecture was an added bonus. Easy conversationalist and overall joy to tour with. Two thumbs up!! "
"We landed in Athens at 8am, checked into our accomodation and headed straight out to meet Dionysis. Overall, the tour was informative, fun, and of course the food was delicious! Dionysis chose perfect spots for each type of food. We had mezze at a small traditional cafe, gyros at a beautiful restaurant, and amazing spanakopita and desserts. We loved all of the places as the food was perfect and they didn’t feel too touristy. The amount of food was great - we couldn’t have eaten another bite! Dionysis also helped us get a feeling for the layout and history of the city which was great for our first day in Athens. He even sent through more recommendations for places to try near our accomodation. Thank you Dionysis!"
