Costas walked us through the highlights of the museum providing great history and context for all the buildings, reliefs, and statues. The museum is beautiful and has a lot of information. "Our tour with Costas was fantastic from start to finish. We met at 8:00 a.m. just a short walk from the main entrance to the Acropolis. Rather than joining the crowds there, he led us around to the western entrance, sharing history and context along the way. As we made our way up, he brought the site to life with stories about the Temple of Athena Nike and the other monuments we encountered before reaching the top. Costas was an absolute wealth of information and history, and he was wonderfully patient with our pace going up the slope. We never felt rushed and had plenty of opportunities to stop, ask questions, and take everything in. What really stood out, though, was how accommodating and flexible he was. After the heat and climb, we desperately needed some cold water and a short break. Costas immediately adjusted the plan, taking us to the Acropolis Museum café and rearranging the museum portion of the tour so we could start at the top and work our way down after we'd had a chance to cool off and recharge. It was a great combination of deep knowledge, storytelling, patience, and genuinely thoughtful guiding. We came away with a much better understanding of the Acropolis and its history, and thoroughly enjoyed our morning with Costas. Highly recommended! "
