Markella is very knowledgeable of all periods of Greek history and has lots of stories to tell about the Parthenon and surrounding buildings and how the history links with the buildings and the archeological finds. He had both of my boys intrigued and catered the tour towards them, weaving the tales of Greek mythology throughout the relics in the museum and then connected this through to our exploration of the archaeological site at the Acropolis itself. He was friendly and patient with my boys, allowing for multiple bathroom and water breaks for them too.
