"We absolutely recommend this tour to anyone visiting Kuala Lumpur who wants to learn more about the indigenous way of life in Malaysia. It completely surpassed our expectations. May was a fantastic guide/interpreter. She was a great communicator before the tour so we knew exactly what we needed to bring and what to expect, and a lot of fun to spend time with. She runs tours across Malaysia and we've kept her contact details for future trips. Our indigenous guide, Lan, was really good-natured and so informative. He was happy to stop and answer any questions we had, and he seemed to be very understanding of the fact that things which might be simple or obvious to him were really new to us. His family are utterly adorable - eating lunch with them was a pleasure and we really enjoyed the spontaneous lesson in how they weave leaves to make a roof for a shelter. The chill-out spot by the river at the end of the tour is actually part of a retreat where you can pay to spend a night in the shelter. We're very tempted to do this tour again sometime but book to stay in the shelter as well, to get the full rainforest experience."

"We definitely recommend learning to cook with Ruth. Communication before the class was excellent so we knew what to expect and all of the recipes were tailored to our dietary preferences. During the lesson, we learnt a lot about the culture and history behind the food and Indian culture in Malaysia, as well as how to cook the dishes. Ruth was kind, welcoming, and friendly and even offered for us to message her with questions we might have about where to eat or what to see during the rest of our stay."

"Casey took my husband and I on a tough, but beautiful hike! We weren't sure what to expect, but we had a lot of fun. Be prepared that you may be dirty afterwards and it would be a good idea to bring a change of clothes, which we didn't know at the time. We also went to Malacca afterwards which worked out great. Casey showed us around and gave us the perfect tour!"

"Ruth and Nehru were the perfect hosts. Ruth provided us with a wonderful menu of Mangalorean food. Ingredients were fresh and very tasty. Rice, salad, a lovely chicken dish, and a taste of delicious street food for snacking on. The dessert was made with fresh mango. Ruth even grows some of her own herbs for the meal and makes her own pickled mango and chutney. We had a very informative and fun cooking session, learning what herbs and spices are used, with recipes to try at home."

"I am so glad I booked with Casey and was fortunate to spend time in his easy and knowledgeable company. He is kind, considerate, interesting and a true gentleman. The sights and experiences we shared were things I would not have found on my own and we had engaging conversations about the history and politics of the country that broadened my understanding and enhanced my trip. Our first day together was the hike up a hill in the outskirts of KL and it was a truly memorable experience. I would describe the exertion as moderate for a reasonably fit and experienced hill walker. Casey is unbelievably fit and energetic, but I felt he set the pace to suit me and was happy to pause or slow down when I wanted to drink in the stunning surroundings and wildlife. He also thoughtfully provided snacks and water (the humidity is unbelievable!). He took me on lesser know trails and we were able to access superior views and a quieter experience. The views from the top across KL and towards the lake and countryside will live long in my memory as will the steeper stretches where we used ropes fixed to the hillside to ascend and descend - brilliant fun. I was mainly on KL for a work trip and just had the weekends either side free. Having spent the first day with Casey I think it speaks volumes that I also chose to spend a day of my second weekend with him. This was for a day trip to Kuala Selangor, something I was really keen to do, but would have struggled to organise without Casey's invaluable help and advice. We packed so much in! Our first port of call was a sunrise boat trip out to the sky mirror a completely astounding natural phenomenon and experience. Then a hike around a national park and trip to see the paddy fields - both with amazing birdwatching opportunities including nightjar, kingfishers and eagles. We visited the fort, managing not to lose any of our possessions to the monkeys, saw wonderful street art and ate the most delicious lunch with Casey's suggestions. Then 2 more boat trips to see the clouds and clouds of brahmin kites and terns that surrounded the boat and a sunset and dusk sail to watch fireflies - both completely incredible multisensory experiences. We also fitted in a sumptuous seafood dinner overlooking the river. My experiences with Casey were superb in every respect and I always felt safe, secure, valued and looked after by this charming and remarkable man. Very glad to have met him and would definitely engage his services if I am lucky enough to be back in KL🙏"
