"We booked an evening food tour with Remy, and it was honestly such a wonderful experience! Remy was an amazing guide. You could immediately tell that he is a true local, which made the experience feel so much more authentic. He showed us so many delicious local foods and took us to places we probably would never have found on our own. We felt much more connected to the local street food scene and got to experience the evening and nightlife at the street food market in a way we probably wouldn't have been able to on our own. What made the tour especially special was how comfortable and welcome Remy made us feel. He was incredibly friendly, easy to talk to, and we had such interesting and enjoyable conversations with him. We genuinely enjoyed listening to him and learning from him. He also paid close attention to our wishes and preferences and adapted the tour as much as possible to what we wanted. The whole evening felt so relaxed and personal that it honestly didn't feel like a tour at all. It felt more like spending an evening with someone who was showing us their city and sharing their local knowledge with us. We had such a great time and would absolutely book another tour with Remy again. I can highly recommend him to anyone looking for an authentic, personal and unforgettable local food experience!"

"Exploring the streets of KL and hearing how cultures, migration, and local spices have shaped Malaysian food was a highlight of my visit. Manjeet was a wealth of knowledge and an great story teller. "My first visit to KL, it overlapped with Chinese New Year ‘26. The heart of KL was absolutely full with visitors and bustling with activity so I wanted to get a wider exposure , taking a private tour by car. Zach took me to eat my first Nasi Lemak at what he considers the best in town. It really was extraordinary, what a fantastic dish. I was a bit hesitant to try the hot chili/sambal but his encouragement helped me be bolder and try everything. As an avid home cook who enjoys world travel, and cuisine, I really appreciated that experience. He took me to Royal Selangor Visitor Center for a private tour, which I highly recommend. It is very unique and you can go home with a personal souvenir. My husband loved his Star Wars’ Yoda figurine. We made brief stops at different sites like the Dataran Merdeka, the King’s Palace, and more. We drove around so I could get an overview of the city, and its different neighborhoods. He helped me get neat pictures of iconic sights like the Petronas Towers, KL Tower and Merdeka 118 from different perspectives. At my request he brought me to a popular market, I think it was the Central Market, and gave me time to shop. (Sorry for the wait Zach! :( ) Finally, he went out of his way to help me get a taste of Beef Randang where locals get it. That was another delicious, complex Malaysian dish. He took me to the market to shop for Kashimiri dried chilis, and chili powder at Little India Brickfields. He knew exactly where to go and what to ask for. I have enjoyed some wonderful Malaysian dishes at home since, and make my own sambal from scratch. As a solo female traveler, I prefer private, personalized guided tours. He made me feel comfortable and at ease. I am very appreciative for the care Zach took to take me around and show me a local’s KL. As an insider, he really knows his way around KL and its best offerings. I had an enjoyable experience with him and would highly recommend him to others."

He listened to all our food requests, and created a tour that was suitable for our family of 4 (including 2 boys aged 11 and 9, one of whom is a picky eater!). "We had an amazing food tour with Siidoz and his colleague Ravi. We weren't rushed at any point and had more than enough to eat! We certainly didn't need anything more! His knowledge was excellent and the tour was tailored to our preferences. The variety of foods we tasted was huge, made us try things we wouldn't have otherwise considered. "We cannot rate Lisa highly enough. She went above and beyond for our tour, researching each of the places we visited to ensure there were options for one of our party that has some special dietary requirements. We all had a brilliant time and would recommend going with an empty stomach as there was so much food that we were pretty full before the last stops and so couldn't appreciate the dishes as much as we should. Lisa knew all about the different places we visited, how they cooked the food, where it originated from and how it had changed with the culture of George town. We would highly recommend this tour."
