"She gave me perfect directions for everything. After booked, I could connect with her on WhatsApp, and she sent me how to go to her house and asked me about what I like and dislike. So I was able to go without getting lost, and cook what I like. AND everything I made was really delicious! We talked a lot about many things during cooking,It was really fun time.(I’m not a good English speaker, but she was so kind for me to understand what she said.) Anyway! It was a great experience. We didn’t just learn how to make our favorite Paneer Makhani, we also got to try our hand at other delicious Indian veggie dishes. What made the experience so special was the conversation with Ruth, so we could have a glimpse into local life and Indian culture. This is the insight you’d never get from a guidebook. We’re so glad we took this class and had the chance to meet Ruth. And the 3 hours flew by in a flash! "We definitely recommend learning to cook with Ruth. Communication before the class was excellent so we knew what to expect and all of the recipes were tailored to our dietary preferences. During the lesson, we learnt a lot about the culture and history behind the food and Indian culture in Malaysia, as well as how to cook the dishes. "Ruth and Nehru were the perfect hosts. Ruth provided us with a wonderful menu of Mangalorean food. Ingredients were fresh and very tasty. Rice, salad, a lovely chicken dish, and a taste of delicious street food for snacking on. The dessert was made with fresh mango. Ruth even grows some of her own herbs for the meal and makes her own pickled mango and chutney. We had a very informative and fun cooking session, learning what herbs and spices are used, with recipes to try at home."
