"Our wonderful experience started with an informative and helpful phone app that gave us all the information to know this was the trip and the best value for money one day Jakarta introduction. Arianti picked us up at the designated time and we set off in a very comfortable and clean car. Arianti drove us north to the National Monument where she described the history of Indonesia leading to its independance. We drove back south and spent around 1.5hrs walking through laneways and street stall markets of Chinatown. Visiting 2 Chinese temples you escape the noise of the market and get infused with the tranquillity of the burning insence. Arianti then took us to the old town to see the history of the Dutch influence through the buildings. A visit to the Kawisari coffee shop for coffee and a snack completed the day. Throughout the day we found Arianti to be polite and presented herself in a calm and professional manner. In the crazy hustle bustle of city driving we always felt safe, comfortable and assured of seeing the sights of our intinerary. Her knowledge of Jakarta and Indonesia allowed her to answer all our questions and inform us of many facts, events and history of the area. "

"We were pleased that Eri was able to pick us up from our hotel near the airport. She said that would work because it was Sunday and traffic would be lighter. I have no doubt she would have recommended the traiin if she thought that would make better use of our time. She was very accommodating to my specific requests, taking me to a small out-of-the-way buddhist temple so I could burn a written prayer, and also to a modern mall to purchase lavender essential oil. She knew the best time of day for the different activities for minimal crowds and avoiding the worst of the sun. She was awesome at mediating with many Jakartans on our behalf, and exhibited some excellent parking skills in tight situations. Our lunch experience at Babah coffee house was a real highlight. "I had only one day to explore Jakarta, and I feel incredibly lucky that Eri was my guide. From start to finish, she was absolutely perfect – warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely thoughtful. "Eri made a custom tour based on our requirements. She was on time and gave us lots of information about the places we visited. She bargained with the sellers in local language and got us good prices for shopping. It was nice to see local places instead of going on a tour that take you to places that give them commissions."

"We asked Eri to take us to places off the Monas-Istiqlal-Batavia axis, and she delivered! We visited markets in SCBD, Glodok (Chinatown), ‘new’ Chinatown in the master planned development PIK 2 which showed different versions of Jakarta (we let her know we were visiting the main sites on our own and had visited two other street food markets already). We felt her local knowledge was very useful, and we definitely wouldn’t have found where we ended up (and where we ate!) on our own. Jakarta is harder to explore on foot than any city I have visited before, so having a car was very useful. Eri helped explain local driving customs and navigated central Jakarta gridlock skillfully. Up until the last minute she patiently accepted all my revisions for the sites I wanted to visit and my must-try foods then worked in as much as she could and then some given my ambitious timeframe!! I ate so well on our food tour, and visited so many places - I truly got to experience and see many sides of this bustling city. Despite this being advertised as a tour via car, I asked for a more intimate feel of Jakarta by travelling on as many modes of transportation as possible to combat traffic - it really paid off. Eri was also easily accessible via Whatsapp and gave great advice on how to get around when we weren't on one of our tour days - much appreciated.
