We truely enjoyed every single meal he organisied for us. Everything was so delicious! Our daughter is a vegetarian and Kadek always had vegetarian alternatives ready for her. We are sure we would not have chosen to buy the kind of food we tried during our tour if we had been on our own. We definitely recommend this tour!"

"We had a wonderful half-day on the Highlights and Hidden Gems of Denpasar tour with our guide, Reza. It was an excellent introduction to the history, culture and everyday life of Denpasar. Reza was incredibly knowledgeable, friendly and engaging. He shared fascinating insights throughout the tour, bringing each location to life. We visited the beautiful Jaganatha Temple (Pura Agung), the palace and museum, and the historic Inna Bali Hotel, where we learned about its colonial past and the visit by Charlie Chaplin. One of the highlights for us was visiting the main indoor Pasar (market). Reza happily adapted the itinerary to include this, which we really appreciated. The market was full of colour and atmosphere, and the local people were so welcoming. We enjoyed buying spices and other Indonesian specialities so we can recreate some traditional dishes when we return home. Throughout the afternoon we had many interesting conversations about Balinese culture, history, traditions and daily life, making the experience feel very personal as well as informative. We thoroughly enjoyed our day with Reza and would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to discover both the famous sights and the hidden gems of Denpasar with a knowledgeable and thoughtful guide. "Budi was friendly, knowledgeable and able to show us some sights of Denpasar that we wouldn't have found easily on our own. He also tailored the tour to make sure we stopped for a great coffee at a local cafe, and also visited the market to buy fresh fruit and other ingredients that we could us later to make a meal back in our villa. We tried street food with his guidance around what it was (helpful when my partner has allergies) and took us via the local palace to the pet market (maybe skip this if you are concerned about what they might be selling). Overall a great experience that I would recommend to someone wanting a local perspective while walking around the streets of Denpasar. "
