"My husband, mom (85 years old!) and I had the best day with Ioannis. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and saw a lot. After seeing many things along the way, we had a fun lunch in Nafplio where we ate fried anchovies and mussels. Both delish and Ioannis successfully coaxed a picky 85-years old to eat not one but three anchovies. A real accomplishment! At the end of the day, Ioannis graciously helped us with a hotel transfer which was above and beyond. "Markella had good reviews and I picked her because she is a licensed tour guide (only licensed guides can go into the Acropolis to give tours.) But my family of five (with two teens and a pre-teen) was blown away by what a fantastic guide she was. "We loved our tour provided by Nikos. He drove us to the Temple of Poseidon and the Ancient Theatre and Silver Mine of Thorikos, with a stop at Lake Vouliagmeni. Nikos is extremely knowledgeable and very fun; also great at taking photos!
