"We spent about six hours with Ioannis starting in Athens, and it ended up being one of the absolute highlights of our entire trip. Our goal was to get outside the city and experience Greece like a local—and he delivered that and more. He took us along the stunning Sounion coast to see the Temple of Poseidon, then brought us to a truly non-touristy restaurant right on the water for lunch. The food was hands-down the best and most authentic we had during our 2+ weeks traveling through Italy and Greece, with a beautiful view to match.
Ioannis was delightful, engaging, and incredibly personable. He even surprised us with a quick visit to his adorable mother-in-law who insisted we pick some fruit from her lovely garden. He showed us how to drink ouzo properly (delicious!) and had the loveliest conversations—it felt warm, genuine, and completely unplanned in the best way. We started our trip with a week in Rome, followed by a 7-day cruise, and ended with four days in Athens, and our time with Ioannis truly stood out as a special, memorable experience. If you want to see Greece beyond the guidebooks and spend time with someone who genuinely loves sharing his country, we couldn’t recommend him more."

"We had a great afternoon with John, he kept the whole family engaged and we saw details in buildings and monuments we had already walked past that we never would’ve seen without him. My 11 and 13 yo boys had a great time. Thoroughly recommend a few hours with the antiquarian! "

"Thank you Dennis for a most interesting introduction to Athens. We did the late afternoon tour. The ebikes were good, we opted for helmets. The route Dennis Chose felt safe, he always indicated where we were going. His Information was interessting and informative especially linking it to modern buildings, his Expertise. I can highly recommend the bike tour. Given that it is mid- October, I should have packed a jacket as it cooled off quite a bit. "
