"We had a group of 5 adults and were able to arrange a full-day Delphi trip from Alimos on June 5, 2025. Nikos was an excellent guide and a wealth of information. From picking us up at our VRBO to stopping for coffee and pastries to get an early morning off to a good start, everyone in our group had a wonderful day. We were able to make modifications as the trip progressed that best suited our group and Nikos offered great workable options. History, mythology and humor flowed naturally throughout the trip and we remained captivated and entertained throughout. Our lunch stop was spectacular as well, for both food and view. I highly recommend Nikos and the Delphi experience. "

We had already spent 2 weeks touring ancient sites in Turkey and the Cyclades with very knowledgeable guides so one would think we were saturated with ancient history. "We made a booking with somebody else to bring us to the Oracle of Delphi. But last minute we got a message that our selected guide was not available and that Thomas would fill in. And this turned out to be a good thing! Thomas is a great guide and a relaxed driver. He speaks excellent English (lived in the UK for 10 years) and is very keen to make your day special! He asked what we wanted to see and when we wanted to see it. He brought us not only to Delphi, but also to lovely small villages with awesome views. He told us about the Greeks, the history and about present life in Greece. He has a very comfortable car, and we were lucky to taste his mothers olive cake! A few tips: Leave early, about 8 or 8.30h, go first to Delphi and than to the rest of the villages, and the last one: let Thomas order your lunch, you will eat like the Greeks do!"

"Thomas was an absolutely amazing tour guide. He was kind, funny, very knowledgeable, and the perfect person to guide a tour! You can just tell by the way he speaks of both ancient and modern history that it is a passion for him, so if you enjoy history he is the best guide for you. It was truly like having your friend show you around. He provided drinks and snacks for the drive and made great conversation. He told us about the history and mythology of the places we were driving by in the way, and he had a PDF ready to go for the site itself since he couldn't enter with us! All of the stops along the way were very cute and had amazing food and drinks. If you're even slightly thinking about booking a tour with him, do it! It will be the best tour you've ever gotten. "

"Nicholas took me to Delphi. Along the way, we stopped at LIVADIA, a worthwhile stop in a really cute town. Had a great Trojan horse ( Instagram spot!!!) The museum at Delphi is terrific and it was very hot so the walk up to the ruins was painful as there is no shade. Ruins not in great shape. But Nicholas also then took me for the best ice cream to help me cool down. Nicholas was very up on his history of Delphi and mythodology and had very entertaining stories so I got a good understanding before I got to museum- do museum first, then you’ll have a better understanding of the pile of rocks You will see. Only the Athens Treasury and the amphitheater are in good shape."

"We selected Nikos to take us (3 sisters from the U.S.) on a day trip to Delphi based on his reviews here. He did a great job, we felt very comfortable, and really enjoyed his enthusiastic knowledge and stories. He went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of, from stopping for coffee and bathroom breaks, to dropping us off at easy access to the sites, for the right amount of time. He then took us to a great local restaurant that was not full of the tour bus crowds which we really appreciated. It was a restaurant in the nearby town of Arachova, family owned for 120 years, and that was really special. We especially appreciated that Nikos was easy to talk to and a great conversationalist with lots of international adventures to share so the conversation was lively both to and from Delphi and during the lunch we shared with him.
