"My husband, mom (85 years old!) and I had the best day with Ioannis. We learned a lot, laughed a lot and saw a lot. After seeing many things along the way, we had a fun lunch in Nafplio where we ate fried anchovies and mussels. Both delish and Ioannis successfully coaxed a picky 85-years old to eat not one but three anchovies. A real accomplishment! At the end of the day, Ioannis graciously helped us with a hotel transfer which was above and beyond. "We had a great day out with Thomas to visit not only Nafplio, but also the sites of Mykines, Ancient Corinth, the castle of Akrokorinth, the Canal of Corinth, the world's oldest bridge, and last but not least the Ancient city of Epidaurus. Although it was raining the whole day, Thomas went out of his way to make us feel comfortable and he was very knowledgeable on several historical topics. We went for lunch in Nafplio in a typical Greek tavern where we enjoyed the perfect Saganaki. On our trip back home we discovered we shared the same taste for 80's music and he treated us to the perfect DJ-set. We will definitely contact Thomas again when we're back in Athens.
