"We had a great tour with Alex of the Acropolis and Acropolis museum. It’s a definite necessity to have a guide at these because you just can’t get a feel for what you’re seeing otherwise. Alex was great with our group that included a 4 year old and made It fun for all. We learned so much and loved how he incorporated his own materials about how things used to look as well as the Greek mythology connected to what we were seeing and what life was like back then. "Markella gave us a great tour that covered the different historical eras of the Acropolis, spoke to the socio-political reasons why things were built and highlighted the architectural details of the buildings. In the museum she guided us through the artefacts and did a great job of highlighting special items and details on the top level of the museum that includes up close views of the Parthenon sculptures"

"Great experience with Dionysis! Easy meeting point and very detailed and personalized tour. He almost doubled our tour time as he got really into telling us all about his home and the hidden mythological gems. Phenomenal way to experience Athens if you are trying to avoid the busy tourist centers! Continually gave us the option to change our tour directions to meet our needs and wants. 10/10 recommend!"

"We booked our tour with Dionysis and very much appreciated his flexibility in adjusting the schedule once we had some conflicting opportunities for our last day in Athens! He has a wide range of knowledge on history, culture and anthropology, and we especially appreciated the dive into Greek mythology! Our only suggestion would be to stick to 3 hours maximum as we got to a point of feeling a but overwhelmed with all the information. And while adding lunch is a nice touch, it added a lot of time and took us into an area of Athens that we were less interested in. We would have wanted an option to just peel off and head back to our neighborhood for lunch. But thanks so much for a great educational and interesting experience!"

He was incredibly knowledgeable, in fact, the only question he couldn’t answer was about tree identification- understandable as it’s not his expertise!
