Here’s an overview of your tour
During this 8 hour tour you'll be able to explore some of the most iconic places in Western Portugal.
We'll visit Óbidos, the town of the Queens of Portugal, famous for its cherry licquor, and a truly royal hidden gem that remains a well-preserved example of medieval architecture; its streets, squares, walls and castle are a popular tourist destination you just can´t miss. After this, we'll continue north to Nazaré, a typical fishing village famous for its Sanctuary of Our Lady built on the Sítio, or top of the hill, and one of the most popular seaside resorts in the Silver Coast. Enjoy the traditional cuisine and the fantastic beach where big wave surfers break world records. We'll then travel along a route that leads to the historical Monastery of Batalha, built near the site of a battle ground where heroes and kings became legends, and Portugal's independence was put to the test. Last but not least, let's follow the road south to Alcobaça, a village founded by the monks of the order of Cister, and visit the magnificent Monastery of Saint Mary, where the country's most romantic love story lies buried in the stone.
