Let's kickoff in China Town, where you can enjoy a stroll through the wet and dry markets that burst with life! Check out the bazaar area (and perhaps even get some local treats for your friends back home!). You can't leave China Town without visiting an authentic Chinese medicine shop. Here you can see, smell and learn all about the tradition of herbal remedies in Chinese medicine.

In Little India, you can marvel at the oldest Indian Temple. Have you ever seen something this majestic from up close? Continue to the delicious food market where locals love to buy fresh produce. Marvel at the colorful spice shops, and feel free to ask me any questions along the way. I can even show you which spices we love to use in our favorite local dishes. Let's not forget about the old Indian architecture that really sets the mood for this neighborhood.

Hidden side-streets at the Penang Flea Market await. Be prepared to see the bargaining tricks at a local car boot sale, and feel free to take a look at the jetty with floating houses. Notice that the locals love to squat when eating their meals? Give it a go! We find this way of eating super comfortable.

And last but not least, you can enjoy a delicious lunch at one of the local houses, you can pick anything that tickles your fancy. There's a selection of Malay, Indian and Chinese dishes.
