a Roman dinner with a 5 course menù and wine pairing

In the cozy warmth of a Roman house, near the Aurelian Wall and a few steps away from the Appia Antica, Maria Gloria, Francesco and Donatella invite you for a 5 course dinner cooked with skills and passion for good food.

The cook of the evening is in fact one of the best "formaggieri" in Rome and his cheese stand has been reviewed by major food guides. He is considered to be among the ten best in the city.

Dinner includes classic Roman dishes such as "carbonara", "amatriciana" and "cacio e pepe". You'll also enjoy a wide choice of cheeses and cold cuts from Lazio carefully selected. You'll eat, according to the season, a selection of goat, sheep and cow's blue cheeses, or stracchino, taleggio, robiola ( and so on). Most of them arrive from Francesco's careful research between little organic cheese producers all over the country, regional and national producers.

Regional organic wine (red or white) will be offered during the dinner.

The evening will also be an opportunity to learn about the history of the dishes and of the producers, all strictly from Lazio.

Requests of booking will be accepted with pleasure no later than 48 hours before dinner.

For requests larger than 6 people, during the warmer seasons, we can organize a dinner, always with the same menu, inside our local market in front of Francesco and Donatella's sales counter.

To the peculiarity of our dinners, typical of Roman cuisine, we can't prepare vegan and gluten free food.
