"Us (a group of 3) booked a food tour with Asu to get acquainted with local cuisine. All of us are coming from a quiet diverse background and have a basic knowledge on Turkish food and culture. Asu has a very welcoming personality, which makes it quite easy to communicate. She made sure to introduce us not only to the local cuisine, but also to the Turkish culture of hospitality. Apart from our program she shared other suggestions for visits and new food experiences (including location pins 😁). All of us were extremely full and sated after this tour. Hence, we recommend Asu as a food guide to anyone who’s new, or not-so-new too 😊, to Izmir or Turkish culture in general. The whole tour was filled with a cozy atmosphere, occasional historical lessons and facts, and obviously a really good food. She did not make us feel as if we are in a hurry or set timeline. "Yarkın was an awesome tour guide. I was in Ephesus for a day seeing the history and I decided to see Izmir before catching my flight back to Istanbul.
