"Us (a group of 3) booked a food tour with Asu to get acquainted with local cuisine. All of us are coming from a quiet diverse background and have a basic knowledge on Turkish food and culture. Asu has a very welcoming personality, which makes it quite easy to communicate. She made sure to introduce us not only to the local cuisine, but also to the Turkish culture of hospitality. Apart from our program she shared other suggestions for visits and new food experiences (including location pins 😁). All of us were extremely full and sated after this tour. Hence, we recommend Asu as a food guide to anyone who’s new, or not-so-new too 😊, to Izmir or Turkish culture in general. The whole tour was filled with a cozy atmosphere, occasional historical lessons and facts, and obviously a really good food. She did not make us feel as if we are in a hurry or set timeline. "Asu was an excellent tour guide. We did a combined highlights and gems tour with 10 tastings tour of Izmer. Asu showed us many beautiful sites and gave us so much great information about her city. As well, she brought us to many restaurants and coffee shops and gave us so many delicious foods, beverages, and sweets that are local to Turkey and this area. She finished with a stop at the top of a tower with a beautiful view of the city and a sunset cocktail. It was a lovely day and I highly recommend Asu. She is a charming and caring tour guide and she is extremely knowledgeable. She was even willing to help me with a little bit of shopping. Thank you for a great day Asu."
