"My wife and I were in Valencia for only 2 days, so we needed to maximize our trip. She found the website with locals online, and we decided to give it a try. We’re so glad we did. We booked Luciana for a morning tour of the Downtown area, to find out about the landmarks and the history of the area. Well, we got that and more. Luciana, our host/tour guide was not only very knowledgeable about the history of the region and the city, having lived there for 12+ years, she obviously knew many of the myths, customs and must-see locations. She was also a great, fun person. So my wife and I genuinely felt like we were with a friend who was showing us around town. Is recommend this tour to anyone looking to get-to-know the city, without the large group tours, and more focused. Obviously, we’d highly recommend Luciana as your your guide ! "

"Luciana was the perfect host - we felt immediately comfortable with her warm and welcoming personality. Communications were great and we met on time and without any problems finding her. We wanted a general introduction to Valencia and a steer to where the hidden food gems were off the tourist trail. Our tour started late afternoon and ran late into the evening. We really had such a good laugh. Luciana is so enthusiastic about her town and its people, it was a fun tour, no constraints. With locals is exactly as it says and by the end it felt as though we’d made a new friend. "The best way to start your stay in a new city is to book a guided tour with a local. It privides an understanding of the culture, provided a history of what the people gone through and what influenced thier behaviour, culture and culinary habits. Our tour with Mike did excatly as we had hoped for. Especially , since he is not born in valencia and learned it as an immigrant, he knows and understand how to look at the different prespectives of life and was able to pass its experince to us, at least partially, 1,5 hours is to short for a complete transfer .
