"The whole time we enjoyed talking with Luciana and learning about her travels, the area of Valencia. She's an excellent guide with lots of knowledge, great stories and i feel like I now have a great friend.  We met Luciana first at the Ruzafa Market for a more local experience with breakfast at the café. Torta (one with onion and one without) + a toast with grated tomato, my new favorite breakfast. We loved this stop as it is truly one of the things Luciana does with friends. Seeing all the fresh fruits and vegetables on display eating what's in season, what a treat!  With a short walk we were at the Colon market which is more restaurants and bars, but also has amazing local artisans selling everything from handmade purses and necklaces to art. Here we had Orxata a sweet drink made from ground nuts with a sweet bread.  Onward to the Central Market and the biggest market in the area, so many great options for food, fresh and pre-made. I had an amazing vermouth while my husband got fresh orange juice.we wandered the stalls while having our drinks.  We of course needed to sit and enjoy some olives and patas bravas next while chatting and enjoying the view of the market ans sunny day.  We ended with chocolate and churros - amazing! "

"We had so much fun with Maria! We did her markets tour and it did not disappoint. We were able to try many new things and revisit a few things that we had eaten before but they were so much better this time! The artichokes that Maria had us try were absolutely amazing and the coffee at Mercado de Ruzafa was out of this world! Maria was easy to be with and made our market experience so wonderful!
