"We spent the most amazing evening in Madrid with Íñigo, who shared so much about the city, its history and most importantly…its delicious food! Íñigo was so engaging and passionate about the city he grew up in. It was so interesting to get his perspective about life and culture in Madrid, in addition to its historical significance. He took us to a variety of restaurants and tavernas (don’t miss Taberna Angel Sierra!!) that all had unique, local character…and amazing food and drink. As we dined on delicious food and drink like boquerones in vinegar, tortillas, salmorejo and tartar de jamón Iberia, complemented with Spanish drinks like vermouth, cerbeza and wine, Íñigo educated us on the cultural significance of everything we ate and drank. I can’t recommend Íñigo enough. His passion for Madrid is unrivaled. If you’re ever in Madrid, do yourself a favor and book a tour with him. You won’t regret it!!"

"We had the most fabulous tour with Piero. He is both knowledgeable and passionate about Madrid. He took us to a range of bars and restaurants which were both authentic and outside of the 'tourist trap' places which we like to avoid. We enjoyed food and drink of Madrid which we we would not have discovered with out him and at each place he gave us a cultural & historical context. He has a great fun loving personality and fabulous sense of humour and as part of our tour he included fun unexpected activities. "Our afternoon with Inigo was the highlight of our stay in Madrid. The food was amazing, and we tried several options whose flavors we would not have found on our own. Most notably were the tortillas with potatoes and carmelized onions, and the fried squid sandwiches with aioli sauce. We also enjoyed sampling the Iberian pork. But most of all, the information and personalized touches provided by Inigo were what made the experience special. We would definitely recommend sampling the food and touring the neighborhoods with Inigo. "

"From the moment we met Beatriz it was like meeting an old friend for a night out in the city. Beatriz is a warm, friendly and positive person and as a guide she was perfect for us. We were three English friends, about to do a Spanish language course, arriving in Madrid for the first time and wanted to speak as much Spanish as we could, safe in the knowledge that our guide was fluent in both. Not only was Beatriz able to swap languages she was the most interesting person to spend time with. She took us to a very Spanish bar for our first drink, we were the only non-locals, where we chatted about a wide array of subjects from history, to local customs, her job as a high school teacher and so much more. The second place she took us was a tapas bar within a mercado, where we had a drink and chose the tapas we wanted to try, delicious. Again, probably somewhere we would not have known about or visited on our own and surrounded by locals. The conversations flowed so easily with Beatriz that the time flew by. The restaurant we visited last had a table reservation, such a necessity on a Friday night in Madrid at places popular with the locals. Again, the food we chose was delicious and the advice from Beatriz guided our choices. By the end of the evening it felt like saying goodnight to a friend, thank you Beatriz for a truly memorable night in Madrid in your company, without doubt all three of us highly recommend that you book Beatriz, on any of her tours, without hesitation.
