Yet having toured Portugal and Spain were were interested in the art and how it related to the history we had learned. The Prado has so much to see that we could have easily been overwhelmed! Govi knew how to show us the pieces that gave us a great overview. She has a depth of knowledge of history and art history and she was able to show us how to understand the art in a way that opened up our understanding of the art and artist in a way that we would not have been able to on our own.
