"I booked the snorkeling with Kobus towards the end of my stay in South Africa - and it was the perfect end to my trip. He was a perfect host and guided me safely and relaxed through the water and the kelp forest - despite the not perfect visibility underwater ;). "My wife and I did the discover scuba dive experience with Kobus in Long beach in Simon’s Town. He made us feel at ease with the gear and what we were doing, we went 6 meters deep and practised the basic skills needed for this experience. He was very patient with us as it is really really hard work to deal with to inexperienced people underwater and he did it the best i could imagine, my wife tended to float and he was with her all the time, calming her down and helping her get the right breathing to stay down and she loved it! We even saw an octopus and three puffadder shysharks!. I would definitively recommend him to any of my friends who are scuba divers or anybody who wants to try the experience coming to Cape Town! "The kelp forest was great and I think an enjoyable experience even if one doesn't see any sea creatures.We felt like we were completing a task like in the Harry Potter movie. We did see an octopus and even a penguin though. We had a really nice time. Kobus was great - easy to be around and super helpful. "We had the good fortune of meeting Veli on a hike up Table Mountain The weather did not cooperate for us. It was foggy and the ground was a little slippery. However, she was a fantastic guide for us. The group included our three children aged 10, 12 and 16 years old. She was patient and was focused on our safety and enjoyment. Our time was limited and we only made it up half the mountain. However, she always stayed with the slowest member of our group assuring our safety. We really enjoyed our hike. We wished we had more time. Veli was wonderful and we highly recommend her."
