"Tomasz was incredible. Whenever we visit a new city we want to find out about the history of the place, the culture of the people, and of course food. Tomasz has a unique ability to not only tell the story, but be able to give specific dates and historical context for every event that shaped modern day Poland. We saw and learned so much and it gave us a truly unique perspective on this amazing city and wonderful country. "
"During our recent stay in Krakow we enjoyed 3 great tours with Aleksandra, Krakow City Tour, Food Tour, and Kazimierz. Right from the start we found Aleksandra welcoming, friendly and engaging and made us feel at ease. She made all our tours interesting, captivating and absorbing. Her knowledge was extensive whether on Krakow City - Krakow History - Polish History - Food - Culture - Kazimierz Jewish Heritage. Aleksandra presented the information interestingly and factually but also punctuated it with little anecdotes to lighten the tour and was always ready to answer any questions. We felt like we were walking with a friend who knew Krakow rather then being with a guide. Aleksandra's English is excellent. We highly recommend Aleksandra as your guide "
"Bartek was an outstanding guide for our family of 5 (kids ages 7-15). We booked 2 days with him. The first day, he drove us to Auschwitz for a tour. He booked all tickets for us, and included a stop at a childcare location that we had reserved for our 7 year old during the tour. After Auschwitz, he met us for a drive to a salt mine, (where he also the tickets ready for us). Along the way, he stopped so we could get lunch at a restaurant he recommended. The whole time he drove us, he offered history lessons and insight into current Polish culture. The following day, he met us at our hotel for a walking tour. We discovered so many hidden gems and a greater understanding of Krakow history. He knew we had an interest in WW2, so he incorporated lots of information throughout the tour, including visiting the Jewish quarter. Along the way, he was engaging with the kids and made sure to add fun details about legends and dragons for our 7 year old. We would highly recommend Bartek for a tour!"
"Bartek picked us up at the hotel for our drive down to Auschwitz. Extremely friendly, and knowledgeable, he chatted with us about Poland, answering our questions, giving us tips etc. He had bought our tickets for the tour inside Auschwitz (he could not guide us inside), dropped us, took my WhatsApp number so that he could communicate where he would meet us at the end of the tour. After the tour ended, he brought us back, stopping at a restaurant in the middle for some pierogi and coffee before dropping us back at our hotel. I truly wish I had booked more tours with Bartek. I will next time. We highly recommend Bartek for tours in Krakow. "
"We spent 2 days with Ola, first sightseeing then food. Ola has lots of excellent knowledge of the city and the historic context in which Krakow is situated. She was very accommodating of some custom requests about where to end the tour and the food preferences, and shared some personal experiences that helped us learn more about the Polish culture. "
"We did the 4-hour Kazimierz Jewish Heritage & Schindler’s Factory Tour with Krzysztof as our guide and really enjoyed it. He is extremely knowledgeable and has lots of interesting stories to share. Very likable, and also a cat lover, which is always a good sign… Highly recommended!"
"We did a tour with Bartek yesterday which was exactly what we wanted. Just the right amount of information, interesting facts to keep us engaged and comprehensively covered the Old townand Castle (there is a lot to see). Bartek found us a good place for a rest stop mid-way which was welcome in the heat of the afternoon. He also went out of his way to point out some places we were going on future tours which was super helpful. Recommended. "
"Aleksandra created a day for us that provided delicious tastes along with sharing many historical tidbits. Perfect eating pace, easy walking and very interesting conversation! "
"I recently enjoyed a private guided tour of Krakow's Old Town with my 13-year-old son, and I cannot recommend Tomaz highly enough. From the very beginning, he demonstrated genuine care and professionalism by taking the time to understand my son's needs—particularly his autism and occasional difficulty maintaining focus—as well as his passionate interest in history. What truly impressed me was how seamlessly Tomaz adapted his tour to keep my son engaged throughout. Rather than delivering a standard guidebook narrative, he wove compelling historical connections that aligned perfectly with my son's interests. Questions about flags, Mongol invasions, and other specific topics were met with detailed, thoughtful answers that sparked genuine curiosity and enthusiasm. The tour itself was remarkably comprehensive and intellectually stimulating. Tomaz masterfully connected different historical threads—from medieval warfare and trade routes to University history and religious heritage—creating a rich tapestry of understanding. He even incorporated fascinating insights into Polish-Swedish history, adding a personal dimension to our experience. What set Tomaz apart was his exceptional ability to balance academic depth with accessibility. He wasn't simply listing facts; he was telling stories that brought history to life. His genuine passion for the subject matter was evident, and it was contagious. My son remained engaged and excited throughout the entire tour, asking thoughtful questions and retaining information in a way that rarely happens in standard group settings. Rating: 10/10 stars"
"We had such a good night. Aleksandra was extremely knowledgeable on many topics from food, recommendations, politics, polish culture. She was well educated on any topic we wanted to explore. We had a selection of polish food to try and all was delicious Make sure you are very hungry before you start!! Highly recommend this tour with Aleksandra."
