"We were picked up from our hotel and taken to the canal where we watched a film about the history of the canal, we then went outside to watch a cargo ship go through the locks. We were then driven back to our hotel, which in a certain light could make Fernando look like just a taxi driver as the film gave the information, However, inside knowledge is important here as the crowds are large, signage isn’t great and the locks don’t link neatly with the film. Fernando got us there at the right time ahead of the crowds, showed which lines to stand in and told us the ship times through the locks. He then got us out ahead of the crowds. This gave back time we would have spent queueing, had great seats in the film and watched the real ship pass fully through the locks. Money well spent on an enjoyable morning at a must see attraction when in Panama "
