But, owing to her outsider upbringing (Brazil) and having spent years in Oslo, married to a Norwegian, she has a unique perspective on her adopted country and countrymen. Her work ethic seems to mirror the Norwegian views about women’s independence and equality. It is no wonder she has fit so well into this culture and is so accomplished.
