"To be honest, we didn't have a lot of expectations for our tour in Agadir. Because the city had been destroyed in an earthquake in 1960, we didn't expect much history. It turned out to be a wonderful day with plenty of culture and flavor. Said picked us up at the cruise terminal and then spent the day showing us around. We especially enjoyed the massive souk (market). Beware of the camel rides at Kasbah Oufella. The sellers are sneaky aggressive and way overpriced. Said found a wonderful place for lunch that was very local. "

"Said was our guide in Agadir and we had one of the most memorable days of out trip . We have traveled extensively and used Withlocals numerous times , all the guides are very good but occasionally some stand out above the rest .Said was one of these . His pre tour communication was excellent and he was waiting for us as arranged with the most welcoming smile and pleasant manner . He planned the day to perfection . We had a tour of the area with his reliable driver in the morning visiting amongst other places the tranquil gardens and a ride in the cable car . Then the highlight the food ! He paced everything so well and he explained everything clearly . We felt totally safe but more than anything enjoyed his company. I especially enjoyed the fact he openly shared things about his life and family in Agadir . The food was incredible and so was Said .The day was particularly special as it was his birthday! "We spent a wonderfully fascinating and informative afternoon with Said last week while on holiday in Morocco. Walking, chatting & sharing meals with him around the souk is the perfect way to understand & to connect to some of the Moroccan culture & cuisine which was what we wanted to do at the start our our Moroccan holiday. When we were curious about things we saw, for example unusual fruits, Said asked the stall holders for us to try thus taking away the awkward haggling & language barrier. As we were only a couple it made the price higher than other tours, especially food tours we saw in Marrakesh, but we understood & appreciated the personal one to one service which allowed us to freely chat. Said was the perfect host who as a local is exactly who we wanted to spend the afternoon with. We never felt rushed or on the clock, the sun setting was the only indicator of time. Agadir Souk is calmer and less intense than Marrakesh's, so a good place to do a tour. We were sad for the tour to end but couldn't eat any more. I wish I could go back and try more things now but sadly back in grey & wet Scotland. "

"Said was a wonderful guide; very friendly and personable. He has a lot of pride for his city and took us to some lovely places outside of just tourist spots. We learned a lot in the short time we spent with Said, and he gave us a lot of fascinating information about the local customs and history, along with some basic language lessons. We finished up with a wonderful lunch at Souk El Had and he helped us pick up specific items we were looking for. I highly recommend Said as a guide, and would love to visit again."
