"I booked a private day tour with Tanivet and Enrique during a recent trip to Oaxaca, and I cannot recommend them enough. They were incredibly engaging, deeply knowledgeable, and wonderfully passionate about sharing their heritage and history of Oaxaca. What truly stood out was how they accommodated my 85-year-old mother. They were patient, adjusted the walking pace, helped my mother in and out of the car, and helped her access all of the sites including Monte Albán. They even brought along walking sticks for my mother to use. I had reached out to other tour guides / tour companies outside of this site and they discouraged me from planning a trip to Monte Albán due to my mother's age and mobility issues. "Enrique and Tani are a great couple, and we enjoyed a lovely day exploring the outskirts of Oaxaca. Tani was very communicative leading up to our pick up time. Enrique's 80's and 90's rockband playlist gave us carpool karaoke vibes. This was our last day on a 5 day trip, and we were very tired, yet wanted to visit both Teotitlan de Valle and the Hierva al Aqua without spending too much time sitting in the pueblos or swimming in the natural pools. Tani made us great reservations at a friend's award winning restaurant and we had a great send off back to the US. "

It was fascinating to listen to the debates the experts have on the uses for various buildings layered in with stories from her father and her spending time as a child around the site with him.
