The best food culture tour I've ever taken
"Raquel took me through the best food and culture tour in Oaxaca market I've ever experienced in any country! She's extremely knowledgeable, if you're not only after eating, but about understanding the local varieties of fruit, Mole sauces, drinks, chocolates - look no further. After these experiences we also sat at a restaurant and had a varied meal.
She's an extraordinarily warm and open person, and adapted spontaneously to my interests.

"We had an excellent tour to Mt. Alban with Tanivet and Enrique. They both made us feel more like friends than clients. Tanivet is extremely knowledgeable about Monte Alban, and we were very impressed by the complexity of the magnificent ruins. We also visited the workshop of Angelico Jimenez in San Antonio Arrazola to see how the fantastical animals are made. Even our lunch stop was a great choice! Enrique is a wonderful driver and both he and Tanivet were always concerned about our wellbeing. We highly recommend this tour with Tanivet and Enrique! "
"We decided to organise this tour for our first evening in order to get to know the city and what it has to offer to make our stay more productive and enjoyable.
Raquel was excellent, friendly and engaging. We learnt so much in our 3 hours and tasted some excellent local specialities including a Mescal tasting .
Walking around the town Raquel was able to answer many of our questions and give us some great trips.
The bonus was as we were doing our own trip in the surroundings with a hire car she was anle to recommend a great place for lunch en route and a wonderful homemade ice cream spot by the El Tule the widest tree in the world and possible the oldest ! Can’t thank Raquel enough. "
"We truly enjoyed spending the day with Tani and Enrique! They were incredibly kind and more than accommodating with our go-with-the-flow schedule.
The experience was wonderful. We visited clay artisans in their workshops, enjoyed a delicious meal at a local restaurant, and even got to see the amazing Tule Tree, which was a delightful surprise we hadn’t expected.
