Great tour- but communication was lacking.
"We booked a Batu caves tour with Siidoz on our 35th anniversary. However the tour was done by a guide named Sid and driver Raja. While Sid and Raja were delightful and went out of their way to show us their city- I was a little disappointed that there was no communication prior to the tour via email. We happened to bump into Siidoz during our food tour in KL. And when our guide introduced us- we realized that this was the Siidoz we booked with for Batu Caves. But he said he wouldn't be coming and someone else would. I completely understand that things can come up at the last minute- but communication is essential. If we had not bumped into him that evening- we would not have known that there was a switcheroo!
I do not want to take anything away from Sid and Raja- they were both phenomenal. We learnt so much about KL and Malaysia from them. My only complaint is that the change was not communicated in advance. I do want to also mention that Siidoz asked his coworkers to get us some chocolates for our anniversary which was extremely thoughtful. I am going to give this review an 8 because of the switch not being communicated. Otherwise the actual guides were outstanding! "

Amazing Tour
"Hoopy was super responsive from the start - very organised and prepared. She provided regular updates and reminders of what to bring on the day. She made excellent suggestions for the itinerary and provided a wealth of context and history for the sights we visited. And she’s an excellent driver and a very talented photographer! I recommend Hoopy highly to anyone looking for a top tier professional guide to Malaysia."

"Unfortunately Joel arrived in a very small car for our trip. With 4 adults it was to be honest unacceptable
Once on tour Joel is engaging and lovely to talk to, but this was not anything special, with no ‘hidden’ info. He basically took us to Battu Caves, and then to some waterfalls. They were lovely, but would have been far cheaper and easier if we’d just taken a taxi to both.
I could write more, but suffice to say, I wouldn’t recommend "

"Paul was a great guide, kind, knowledgeable, attentive, good at taking photos and good at reading what level of detail we wanted on different subjects and topics. The only downside which is an easy fix is Paul’s car was not clean. A carwash and detailing of the inside of the car would make it a more appealing experience. "

Great day with Adnan
"Adnan is a very personable guide with decent knowledge and a happy disposition. His car is super comfortable with great aircon & he speaks great English. We ( 2 of us) booked a 4 hr Batu Cave Temple tour that we completed in about 1.5hrs, so he then took us to the hot springs and local waterfall. We had a superb day and I would certainly recommend him."

"I made a huge planning mistake… wrong date booked!! Panic struck, some messages later all was well again. Hoopy managed to switch the whole trip at 23:00 o clock, so we could go the next morning!
