"I did the tastings and drinks tour. It was exactly what I needed. Casual, fun, informative and meeting people in cozy areas where each of the foods were delicious and the drinks enjoyable. Maria was able to quickly understand my needs and personality and if we went to fabulous fun spots. We had Kushi katsu, Takoyaki and Oden at Shin Sekai. We stopped for some rattlesnake and herb drink. Yes, there was a rattlesnake in the jar of alcohol and herbs. Each stop was fun with the people. If you are looking for adventure, tasty food, challenging drinks and casual fun. Maria is the one. I highly recommend her. By the way the octopus balls (takiyaki) were delicious. "

"Our food tour with Maria was amazing. She knew all of the best places to get some truly unique bites, and had lots of interesting history to share with it. I love that she took our experiences and preferences into account. When she heard we had already tried a particular dish, she was quick to pivot to something new. We had a blast trying a hole-in-the-wall bar, different street foods, all while walking with someone who intimately knew the area. I would definitely take a tour with Maria again!"
