She went above and beyond for us, meeting us at the port and guiding us through adding Japanese transit cards to our phones, on top of being a friendly and knowledgeable tour guide. The pacing of our days never felt rushed, but we saw the same things as some of the official cruise tours, in half the time and for half the price, while also getting a personalized experience and a private guide for the 4 of us rather than being stuck on a full day bus with a hundred other people.
