" We had a wonderful 3-hour walk in the Gion area and beyond with Naoki, where he showed us a selection of both well-known sites and a set of more hidden paths and gems among Kyoto’s temples, shrines and beautiful spots. He has great knowledge into the area, its history and its culture, giving us lots of insights into Japanese culture, main religions and a range of cultural concepts. Naoki really adapted to our interests, mainly being history, culture and architecture, and he put great effort into meeting this. Also, he is super friendly and helpful! We saw the Kawazu-zakura cherry blossoms, enjoyed matcha and sakura mochi, and visited Uji to see Byodoin Temple. "I did this food tour with my 12-year-old son and it was amazing. The place is huge and busy, and on our own we wouldn’t have known what to try or where to go. (Yoshiro)Ted took us to places we would never have found and introduced us to a great variety of food. He was very attentive, and when he noticed my son isn’t into seafood, he found great alternatives for him. It was also really interesting talking with him about life in Japan, and he gave us helpful tips for the rest of our trip. "Eiji met us early and ready to tour Kyoto. He knew every area and how to get in and out even with the crowds. We could not believe jow lucky we were at the end of the day because without Eiji we would not have seen anywhere near the amount of amazing places and things we did get to experience. He took our pictures all along the tour and at the end of the day forwarded them along and so now er not only have the memories but this wonderful keepsake of our day in Kyoto.
