"From the moment we met Lucia she was friendly and very attentive to our four children. The kids had a fantastic time. Lucia had the kids really engaged with the ‘treasure hunt’ and it was clear they were having lots and lots of fun, even our 3 year old got really stuck in! - Lucia really has a natural way with children and they really enjoyed her company! The tour was really informative for the children and for us! I think without Lucia we could only enjoy the outside beauty of Venice but actually it has so many hidden gems and history which Lucia shared with us. The kids ended with an exclusive workshop session to make masks, we were comfortable to leave them with Lucia and safiyya (from the workshop) while we enjoyed some quiet time and a coffee in a nearby cafe. "We took the Magical Venice tour in June. Lucia is friendly, knowledgeable and fun! She really made it a unique experience for our 9 year old niece. She shared lots of history and introduced us to talented artists. My niece made a mask at the end of the tour and it was a once in a lifetime experience! "Having already visited several Italian cities throughout our holiday, I decided to book with Lucia to get an understanding of Venice on our first day in the city. All the guides on withlocals sounded great and luckily, I ended up booking a family experience with Lucia.  For the children and myself, this tour with Lucia was a highlight in Italy.  Lucia's historical knowledge was brilliant and she related interesting facts that the children  (13, 11 and 5) found relevant. She also knew all the quiet \"calles\" and out of the way \"campos\"; one of our stops had the most incredible view of the grand canal. As well as being knowledgeable, Lucia was warm and attentive and managed to keep everyone's attention engaged simultaneously. The children absolutely adored her and my 5 year old has plans to marry her in the future... The children also loved the mask making workshop with Sofia.  Sofia took such time and care with our masks; her passion and knowledge of the theatre were clear and we learned a great deal at her quaint workshop. Her work is beautiful and we really loved her studio. After braving it alone on day 2,  I tried to book another withlocals tour for day 3, but  all the experiences we wanted were unfortunately already reserved.  If we're ever in Venice again, we'd love to have Lucia as our guide. Thanks to her and Sofia, I don't think we could have had a better start to our Venetian adventure! "
